Antique Table Lamp with Victorian Lamp shade- The Warrior # 0437
The Warrior is # 0437 in the Suzanne Michelle Illuminations Heirloom Spring lighting collection.
The Warrior lamp is a very special antique lamp estimated Cira 1920's and re-created in 2025. It hosts a beautifully detailed base with scrolling vines, wheat design and unique original bust lamp finial which have been hand painted to match it's glorious Victorian style lampshade. Since we haven't found information on the original lamp, I am guessing that it probably originally held a slag glass shade.
The Warrior's unique hand sewn Victorian shaped lampshade has been ombre dyed purple to light faint green and covered with a beige embroidered netting. The side panels are adorned with a floral brocade print while meticulously embroidered corn flower and leaf appliques have been added to the front and back panels to complement the colors in the lamp and hand breaded fringe. Soft beige braided and sequined French gimp trim emphasizes her fabric panels. The shade is adorned with stunning hand beaded glass fringe featuring champagne, olive, gold and Amythest beads. The lamp is finished with Michelle's signature butterfly information tag and comes with free insured shipping to USA locations, a certificate of authenticity, care instructions and the bulbs needed to use the lamp when received. It is also quite heavy.
This Illuminated art piece took months of stitching, hand dying, hand painting, hand beading and hand embroidering to complete Michelle's dream for this amazing lamp.
The Warrior lamp stands 24 1/2" high to the top of the finial with a 16" wide x 10" deep Victorian style shade. The lamp can use either a 15 or 25 Watt frosted incandescent light bulb.
